It isn't 40 times stronger and it won't drive you mad. Prohibitionist myths debunked here |

Welcome
to the
first online Cantheist assembly.
Everything required to show religious cannabis use downloadable freely. "We use cannabis to relax our consciousness and allow our sub conscious to reach a state of meditation thus allowing us to improve as human beings and enhance our understanding of the essence of the living universe." © Cannabis Assembly, Sept 2004 Under EU & UN law, this is legal, but
not proven... yet.
We
began to inform the UK
government of our religious use and cultivation of cannabis in
September 2004. The Prime Minister, a procession of Home Secretaries,
the Office of Constitutional Affairs, and the Queen, had full
knowledge of our activities, but no prosecutions were brought. This
in itself may be considered a victory over the stupidity of prohibition
by some but without our case being heard in court the government left
Cantheists living with the fear of prosecution and possible
imprisonment simply for practicing their chosen religion, which is not
acceptable morally or under UN and EU law. Luckily, North Wales Police
ordered that I, Reverend Paul, should be arrested without reason on
11th July this year, 2007, by officers of Greater Manchester Police. My
trial for the possession of my sacrament in the privacy of my own home
has already begun. So we now have two tickets to Strasbourg. Things
should get interesting quite soon.

So what's this all about?
Have
you heard
of 'Hemp'?
It's a very tough plant that will grow almost anywhere outside the
polar regions, and requires no herbicides or pesticides.
It's fibre is three times stronger than cotton, more absorbent, warmer,
and tougher.
It can be used to make plastic, paint, and to build eco-friendly
housing.
One acre of hemp will make as much paper as over four acres of trees.
Hemp seed oil is lower in saturated fat than any other vegetable oil
and one of
the most complete vegetable proteins known. For over 10,000 years it's
been used in medicines
and religious rituals.
So why are our fields not overflowing with this most abundant herb?
Because it's other name is Cannabis.
Without
the need of
pharmaceutical processing cannabis can
aid the sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis, AIDS, Cancer,
Brain Tumours, Arthritis, Glaucoma, Stroke, Nausea, Asthma, Epilepsy, Insomnia,
Depression,
Chronic Pain, and Migraine. But, whilst allowing pharmaceutical
companies to rape our sacred herb for any profit which may be made, our
leaders still insist it has no medical value and prosecute those who
dare to give it freely as a medicine, such as THC4MS and BudBuddies.
Our
media and
politicians like to
quote Mori polls. Only 17% of UK residents believe
Cannabis
should be
illegal, here is a Mori poll to prove it http://www.mori.com/polls/1997/cannabis.shtml
We
believe the Cannabis
Hemp plant
is sacred. We believe no authority on Earth has the right to prevent us
from growing and using any God given plant that relieves pain and brings
peace. The Herb is part of our religion and international
law
guarantees our right to religious freedom. Together we are fighting to
give The Herb back to the people. Religious use of cannabis is legal
under international law and we are going to prove it.

"Freedom

religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are
prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the
interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health
or morals, or for the protection of the rights and freedoms of others."
Article 18 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights states...... "Everyone

If
you have any questions, ask!
The Cannabis Assembly is a
Cantheist ministry with
a current membership of . By joining us you are stating that you are sincere in your religious use of cannabis. You cannot become a member of the Cannabis Assembly unless you are a current user and/or cultivator of cannabis Sacrament. We have been asked a number of times for a definition of the term 'Cantheist'. The best I can do is.. If 'you can confirm that you use the Herb religiously, either as part of your meditation or prayer or to achieve a relaxed mental balance to carry out any aspect of your chosen religion, then you are a Cantheist'. We will freely provide you with documents proving your religious use of cannabis. You do not need to reveal your identity. A prepared legal case of religious cannabis use has never been heard before the European Court of Human Rights, until now. Join us |
